WASHINGTON – White House nationwide safety adviser Jake Sullivan expressed confidence on Friday that Sweden will be part of NATO “in the not too distant future” amid opposition to Sweden’s accession from Turkey.
Sullivan instructed reporters that US President Joe Biden can have talks with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in some type throughout subsequent week’s NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania. — Reuters
