US approves possible sale of Javelin missiles to Australia

WASHINGTON – The US State Department made a dedication to approve a doable international navy sale to Australia of Javelin missiles and associated tools for $60.18 million, the Pentagon mentioned on Tuesday.

Australia has requested to purchase as much as 255 Javelin FGM-148F missiles. The prime US contractor would be the Javelin Joint Venture between protection contractors Lockheed Martin Corp and Raytheon Technologies Corp, the Pentagon mentioned in a press release.
