The cosmos is providing up a double characteristic in August: a pair of supermoons culminating in a uncommon blue moon.
The first supermoon appeared barely brighter and greater than regular.
From nation to nation, the “sturgeon moon” was captured by eager sky gazers, together with right here in Valletta, Malta.
The moon could be seen rising behind the steeple of St Paul’s Anglican Pro-Cathedral and the dome of the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
