Thousands of ambulance workers walk out in pay dispute

Up to 25,000 ambulance employees throughout England and Wales are on strike on Wednesday in a dispute with the Government over pay. Paramedics, name handlers, drivers and technicians from the Unison and GMB unions are participating in staggered strikes throughout a 24-hour interval.
