BANGKOK — Thailand’s parliament voted in favor on Wednesday of voiding the prime ministerial nomination of Move Forward chief Pita Limjaroenrat, after political rivals challenged using a rule below which he was put ahead as a candidate.
Pita was looking for to contest a second legislative vote on the premiership after failing to win the backing of the bicameral parliament final week. — Reuters
