Teen charged over crash that killed ‘one of a kind’ 18-year-old
A teen has been charged with manslaughter following a crash in an allegedly stolen automobile that claimed the lifetime of an 18-year-old girl in Queensland.

The 19-year-old from Ipswich, south-west of Brisbane, was charged with illegal use of a motorcar and manslaughter on Wednesday.

He allegedly misplaced management and crashed a stolen silver Holden Commodore simply after midnight on Friday in Toowoomba, about 100 kilometres west of the capital.

Heidi Riding, 18, wasn’t sporting a seatbelt when the automobile crashed into timber and burst into flames on Hursley Road in Newtown.

She was killed immediately.

Riding’s household final week described her as “one of a kind”.

“Our beautiful girl tragically died late last night,” her sister Tamika mentioned.

”She was someone no matter what was happening in her life she would again and again help you first and that’s where a lot of her troubles stemmed from.

“Our hearts are shattered now we have no phrases our stunning woman the one who made our household entire is gone and there’s no bringing her again.”

The 19-year-old driver was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with minor injuries.

He’s due in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday.
