Foreign Minister Penny Wong has instructed the UK it should confront its colonial previous in an effort to transfer ahead and ‘modernise’ its relationships with Indo-Pacific nations.
Ms Wong is encouraging England to acknowledge its previous practices below the colonial system because it advances its fashionable diplomacy.
In a speech at Kings College in London she shared her family’s historical past working as home servants for British colonists.
