SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea fired an unspecified ballistic missile in the direction of the ocean Thursday morning, Yonhap news company reported, citing South Korea’s navy.
The company stated the South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff reported the missile was fired towards the East Sea, also referred to as the Sea of Japan, within the newest act of defiance from Pyongyang amid acute tensions with Seoul and Washington. — Agence France-Presse
