ISTANBUL, Turkey – A mom has been reunited along with her child in southern Turkey after a DNA check confirmed it was her daughter, virtually two months after a devastating earthquake ripped via the area, the nation’s household ministry stated.

The three-and-a-half-month previous “miracle baby”, known as Vetin, was pulled out of the rubble of a constructing within the province of Hatay greater than 5 days after the Feb. 6 quake with no well being issues, a ministry assertion stated.

The minister handed her over to her mom Yasemin Begdas at a hospital within the metropolis of Adana 54 days after the catastrophe.

“Reuniting a mother and her child is one of the most precious tasks in the world,” Minister of Family and Social Services Derya Yanik was quoted as saying.

After initially being cared for at a hospital in Adana, the infant had been taken by the presidential aircraft to be cared for by authorities in Ankara.

A DNA check revealed that Yasemin was her mom and the infant was flown again to Adana, the place the reunion came about on the hospital treating her.
