The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says it will be a “very good thing” for US President Joe Biden to deal with the Australian parliament whereas visiting in May for the Quad summit.
“I think it should be a great event,” Mr Sheridan advised Sky News Australia.
“And one good thing about it, it shows to the Australian people how seriously the Americans take us and it communicates to the American system how seriously the President takes the relationship so I think it’s a winner all around.”
