DUBAI — Islamic State on Thursday confirmed the loss of life of its chief Abu Hussein al-Husseini al-Qurashi, and named Abu Hafs al-Hashimi al-Quraishi as his alternative.
Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan mentioned in April that Turkish intelligence forces had killed the militant group’s chief, al-Qurashi, in Syria. — Reuters
