Hikers found dead in state park near Las Vegas amid record heat

Two feminine hikers have been discovered lifeless in Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park within the USA on Saturday afternoon, state police say.

Several hikers noticed the ladies enter the park on Saturday morning and have become involved after they didn’t see them return, Nevada State Police mentioned in a press release launched on Sunday.

After the hikers requested for a welfare examine on the ladies, Nevada State Police officers arrived at round 2.48pm, in accordance with the assertion.

Officers discovered the physique of one of many girls on a path contained in the park.

Officers requested help from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s search and rescue workforce.

They then found the opposite hiker’s physique in a canyon.

Nevada State Police didn’t present a reason for dying for the ladies.

Police have opened an investigation into the deaths.

In Overton, the place the park is positioned, Saturday’s excessive temperature was 45 levels, in accordance with the National Weather Service.

Most of southern Nevada is below an extreme warmth warning, in accordance with the service.
