ESPN announces layoffs as part of cost cutting by Disney

Disney CEO Bob Iger introduced in February that the corporate would cut back 7,000 jobs both by means of not filling positions or layoffs.

“We will continue to focus our workforce on initiatives that are most closely aligned with our critical priorities and emphasise decision-making and responsibility deeper into the organisation.”

ESPN was not a part of the primary part of Disney reductions final month.
