Cord snaps on UK amusement park ride, flinging riders into air

Festive enjoyable at a Christmas-themed amusement park within the UK has shortly turned to terror after the twine on a trip snapped and flung riders into the air.

The incident occurred at Winter Wonderland at the Hyde Park amusement park in London.

The twine on the slingshot trip, which usually slings two individuals into the air, reportedly snapped and the passengers had been thrown into the air.

Security shut down the trip and turned different patrons away.

”Following a technical issue yesterday evening involving the reverse bungee we can confirm both riders were safely escorted off the ride, checked by our on-site medics and were not injured,” the competition mentioned on Twitter.

“Safety is our highest priority and we can confirm the ride is closed while further investigation takes place.

”All of our rides endure rigorous and common security checks by skilled members of employees educated in well being and security.
