KATHMANDU —At least 16 individuals have been killed on Sunday after an plane crashed in western Nepal’s Pokhara, a military spokesman stated, as tons of of rescue staff scoured the hillside crash website.
“”We count on to recuperate extra our bodies,” Krishna Bhandari told Reuters. “The aircraft has damaged into items.”
There have been 72 individuals on the twin-engine ATR 72 plane operated by Yeti Airlines and flying from Kathmandu, capital of the small Himalayan nation, stated an airport official.
Local tv confirmed thick black smoke billowing from the crash website as rescue staff and crowds of individuals gathered across the wreckage of the plane. —Reuters
