At least 14 killed after billboard collapses in Mumbai during thunderstorm

MUMBAI —  At least 14 individuals have died and dozens have been injured after an enormous billboard fell on them throughout a thunderstorm in India’s monetary capital Mumbai, in response to native authorities.

The billboard collapsed on some homes and a petroleum station subsequent to a busy highway within the japanese suburb of Ghatkopar following gusty winds and rain late on Monday.

Scores have been trapped following the incident with rescue operations persevering with till early on Tuesday. The thunderstorm introduced site visitors to a standstill in components of the town and disrupted operations at its airport, one of many nation’s busiest.
