Aid is slow to arrive to remote Moroccan villages following quake

Remote villages in Morocco’s Atlas mountains had been among the many areas hardest hit by the earthquake that struck Morocco final week. Traditional mudbrick buildings, which had been ill-suited to resist the sturdy tremors, cracked or collapsed, killing many inhabitants and leaving survivors homeless. FRANCE 24’s Luke Shrago, Tarek Kai and Abdallah Malkawi visited Tolkin, a village situated 80 kilometres from Marrakech, as a brand new truck loaded with provides arrived to assist the stricken inhabitants.
