Around lunchtime on Wednesday, customers started reporting points with their cell information on the telecommunications big’s community.
According to outage monitoring web site Downdetector, the issues reached their peak simply earlier than 1pm (AEST), when 936 points have been reported.

“There is a reported cable reduce affecting some dwelling telephone and cell providers in Coober Pedy since yesterday afternoon, with restoration work ongoing,” it said in reply to a customer who said he hadn’t had coverage since yesterday evening.
“Updates shall be supplied… as we obtain reviews from our subject techs.”
