This week in Barcelona the largest smartphone, cellular community suppliers and telcos are gathered for the annual Mobile World Congress to debate the most recent expertise in cellular, however it appears ChatGPT is all of the speak right here too.
Telstra CEO Vicki Brady spoke solely to 9News.com.au in Barcelona, saying, “everyone’s talking about chatGPT, you can’t look anywhere without it being talked about“.
For Telstra, there’s potential for Artificial Intelligence like ChatGPT to boost their buyer assist.
“I’m super excited about things like ChatGPT, this whole generative AI area,” Brady mentioned.
“I think about, one, how customers interact with us in a digital environment, but even for our teams that are in stores or in our contact centres that are interacting with customers, there’s a lot of knowledge to get across and being able to apply something like ChatGPT in that environment to help our frontline teams really deliver for customers.
“I’m tremendous excited by that.”
As for the many concerns raised about jobs being lost because AI will take over, that’s now how Brady sees it.
“It’s not about changing folks, it is about supercharging them,” she said.
“So taking away a few of that stuff that is clunky and time consuming, truly, it places it at their fingertips and so they can spend the time interacting with our clients.”

Telstra’s executives shall be charged with understanding the potential of ChatGPT and different AI — as a result of the CEO appears eager to know extra.
“That’s the bit I’m so focused on, how do we really leverage those amazing teams we’ve got right across Telstra?” she mentioned.
“And that’s where something like ChatGPT could be a real game changer to help really empower them further”.
