Systems are down at Box Hill Hospital and Angliss Hospital inflicting directors to difficulty a “code yellow internal emergency” declaration.
“The issue has been caused by a critical core switch outage that we are currently working to rectify,” Eastern Health mentioned in a press release.
The service says there isn’t a proof of a cyber assault at this level.
”Hospital systems have reverted to downtime procedures and business continuity plans have been enacted,” the service mentioned.
“We will continue to keep our staff, patients and healthcare partners informed as the situation unfolds.”
