The Australian-developed Polilight was a recreation changer for contemporary policing and helped clear up numerous crimes around the globe.
Developed by the Australian Federal Police within the Eighties, it permits forensic scientists to detect in any other case invisible fingerprints, bodily fluids, blood stains and revealing doc forgeries.
Today, the Polilight, or a variation of it, is utilized in 98 per cent of crime scene investigations.
It was extensively popularised on fictional crime TV exhibits reminiscent of C.S.I.
