An inmate has been taken into custody after escaping from Sydney’s Long Bay Correctional Centre on Monday.
Its understood the person induced “chaos” all through Sydney’s southern suburbs for about an hour earlier than he was apprehended by police close to Beverly Park.
In an announcement, NSW Police confirmed one man had been taken into custody.
There are most and minimal safety services inside the Long Bay Correctional Complex, positioned about 15km south of Sydney’s CBD.
