Three-time champion Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the Masters 1000 occasion beginning subsequent week in Indian Wells due to damage.

The 22-times Grand Slam champion stated on Tuesday that he had began rehab and physiotherapy, as instructed by medical doctors.
“I am sad that I won’t be able to compete at Indian Wells nor Miami. Very sad not to be there,” he stated on his Twitter account.
“I’ll miss all my US fans but I hope to see them later this year during the summer swing.”
The 36-year-old Spaniard, who was runner-up final 12 months in Indian Wells, has not competed since his Australian Open title defence in January led to a second-round defeat throughout which he aggravated a hip drawback.
