Bayern Munich ahead Sadio Mane has punched teammate Leroy Sane within the face after their Champions League quarter-final defeat by the hands of Manchester City.
Sky Germany report that Sane’s lip was bleeding after the incident, and the pair wanted to be separated after the match.

The pair was seen visibly arguing within the 82nd minute of the first-leg tie, with Sane remonstrating with Mane after the latter despatched a wayward move that noticed City defender Nathan Ake simply intercept and set off a counter-attack.
After the ultimate whistle, Mane reportedly took difficulty with the way in which Sane had spoken to him on the pitch, and was stated by German reporter Kerry Hau to have insulted Sane earlier than hanging him.
Sane needed to be despatched out of the dressing room to settle down.
The pair remained separated when Bayern arrived again in Munich, with Mane getting a personal automobile from the airport whereas Sane remained on the crew bus.
Bayern Munich are but to answer the media stories of the incident, refusing to touch upon Wednesday.
The tie marked the primary time City supervisor Pep Guardiola had confronted his former aspect Munich, having managed the German champions from 2013 to 2016.
Guardiola stated the win left him “emotionally destroyed” after a demanding match that places City in prime place for his or her third consecutive semi-final look within the Champions League.
“I have (aged) 10 more years today,” the Spaniard stated.
“It was such a demanding game.
“Now I have to relax, a day off for the guys, prepare for Leicester (on Sunday morning).
“I know exactly what you have to do there (in Munich).
“If you don’t perform really well, they are able to score one, two, three. I know that. The players know that.
“It’s an incredible result, but we have to do our game with huge, huge, personality.”
The loss was Bayern’s largest Champions League defeat since 2017.
The six-time European champions now have little hope of turning over the deficit in subsequent Thursday’s return leg in Munich to make it to the semi-finals.
“This does not feel like a 3-0 but it is a 3-0 and it is a huge, huge task now to turn this around,” stated Bayern supervisor Thomas Tuchel.
“We are realistic but we will not give up,” he stated.
“It will not be over until we are in the shower.”
