The remark was in reference to the Filipinas’ match in opposition to Switzerland final Friday.
“You know what, sometimes even against Switzerland, it felt like it was not the case because we still lost that game,” Sawicki mentioned to GMA Integrated News after laughing the remark off.
“But like I said, like all of my teammates, I’m gonna give everything I can whether it’s on the ball or off the ball.”
With their first three factors listed already after defeating residence staff New Zealand, Sawicki herself mentioned she may be very proud to put on the Philippine colours.
“Just really overwhelmed with all the support we’ve had in New Zealand so far. it’s been truly amazing and we appreciate it so much,” she mentioned.
The Philippines will battle to advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup after they play Norway on Sunday.
