Former A-League prodigy Kusini Yengi’s brilliant begin life with English membership Portsmouth has been soured by an ankle damage that’s set to sideline him for as much as eight weeks.
Yengi, who joined the English League One outfit from Western Sydney Wanderers in July, scored 4 targets in his first three appearances in all competitions for his new membership.

“It’s still a real blow to everything we have been trying to build over the last few weeks, but … it could have been a lot worse.”
Yengi, who made an prompt affect for Adelaide United when making his A-League debut in 2020 earlier than transferring to the Wanderers in 2022, described the ligament injury as a “minor setback”.
