“Lucky enough it was a wide so I got to go a bit further from the batter and just threw a hail Mary and happened to hit it.

“You kind have to do it once because if you don’t hit it the first time the batsman are pretty aware of what you’re trying to do and you never get that chance again.”

His teammates erupted in celebration after the wicket, besides Griffiths’ mate at first slip, who won’t have been paying fairly as a lot consideration.

“It’s actually good for us to be in A grade,” he stated.
