Adam Gilchrist believes David Warner deserves the primary likelihood opening for Australia on the ODI World Cup regardless of Mitch Marsh’s promising stint on the prime of the order on the final go to to India.
Typically a middle-order batter, Marsh stepped in to open in Australia’s three-match fifty-over sequence towards India in March after an elbow damage struck Warner down.

Australia start their preparations for the World Cup with fifty-over sequence towards South Africa and India, with Marsh, Head and Warner all incomes choice within the squad.
“You don’t take (Warner) if you’re not going to start with him and open with him,” Gilchrist instructed AAP.
