Renegades bat first in BBL clash with Heat

Brisbane Heat have received the bat flip of their Big Bash League (BBL) conflict with the Melbourne Renegades in Cairns and opted to bowl first.

There was a brief delay within the bat flip with a thunderstorm sliding previous the bottom.

Both groups failed to fireplace final season and nationwide T20 skipper Aaron Finch, taking part in for the Renegades underneath captain Nic Maddinson, mentioned that they had quite a bit to play for. He was wanting ahead to watching their recruit Jon Wells.

With Heat legend Chris Lynn becoming a member of the Adelaide Strikers their two star recruits might be integral to filling the breach.
