New Zealand quick bowler Adam Milne has been dominated out of the rest of the one-day worldwide sequence towards England attributable to a hamstring damage.
Milne, who can also be within the squad for a three-match ODI sequence in Bangladesh this month, missed New Zealand’s eight-wicket win over England within the opening match on Friday.
“Milne suffered hamstring tightness at training in Cardiff before yesterday’s opening ODI and a subsequent scan revealed he would need a period of rehabilitation,” NZC mentioned in an announcement.
The 31-year-old might be changed by Ben Lister, who was already in England taking part in for Kent within the County Championship.
Lister has performed 10 Twenty20 internationals and one ODI for New Zealand, taking a complete of 11 wickets throughout each codecs.
The second ODI might be performed on the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Sunday.
