Star quick bowler Pat Cummins has confirmed his return from a quad damage to captain Australia within the first Test towards South Africa on the Gabba.

Cummins changing luckless Queenslander Michael Neser is the one change to the Australian XI from the 419-run thumping of West Indies final week.
