Star quick bowler Pat Cummins has confirmed his return from a quad damage to captain Australia within the first Test towards South Africa on the Gabba.
Cummins changing luckless Queenslander Michael Neser is the one change to the Australian XI from the 419-run thumping of West Indies final week.
The 29-year-old missed the Adelaide Test for the second yr in a row after hurting himself towards the Windies in Perth.
But Cummins has regarded again to his regular self throughout bowling drills over the three days Australia have had in Brisbane main as much as the beginning of the eagerly anticipated first Test on Saturday.
