Fans have taken to Twitter to specific their distaste for a brand new Nine Network telemovie about Shane Warne, which can hit screens later this 12 months.
The community shared an advance trailer for the two-part drama throughout their State of Origin protection on Wednesday night time, solely to be met with widespread outcry.
“Australian TV is embarrassing at the best of times, but the snippets I saw of the Shane Warne biopic during Origin tonight look absolutely dire,” one person wrote. “Like horrendous.
“Channel 9 should mothball the project out of respect to the great man and take it as a tax write-off.”
