Filipino 3×3 basketball groups Uratex Dream and TNT Triple Giga booked slots within the Red Bull Half Court World Finals in Serbia after ruling their respective courses’ finals on Saturday, June 3, in Taguig.
Women’s staff Uratex pulled off a 16-13 win over Fila within the championship recreation. The staff included Kaye Pingol, Mikka Cacho, Blanche Bahuyan, and Sam Harada.
Prior to the finals win, Uratex swept all three of its pool video games earlier than escaping La Filipina within the semis, 17-16.
“We really prepared for it and we will prepare even more for the World Finals in Serbia,” stated staff proprietor Peachy Medina.
“It will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. We hope to represent the Philippines and Philippine basketball well at such a grand event like the Red Bull World Finals where you get to play against more than 20 countries.”
Meanwhile, TNT Triple Giga which consists of Almond Vosotros, Lervin Flores, Gryann Mendoza, and Ping Exciminiano, additionally booked a slot after defeating Fila within the finals, 22-15.
The World Finals will likely be held in Belgrade in September.
