After parting methods with the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, Topex Robinson is now heading to Taft Avenue.
De La Salle University introduced on Thursday that Robinson is the brand new head coach of the Green Archers efficient January 19.
Robinson additionally beforehand coached San Sebastian College and Lyceum of the Philippines University within the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Under his belt, Robinson steered the Pirates to the finals in NCAA Season 93 however fell to San Beda University.
Phoenix, below Robinson, reached the semifinals of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup, and the quarters within the 2021-22 Governors’ Cup and the current Commissioner’s Cup.
Robinson will deal with a La Salle squad who missed the Final Four bus in UAAP Season 85 after falling to Adamson University within the playoff for the fourth spot. The Green Archers ended the season with a 7-7 document.
Robinson will take over the place of Derrick Pumaren, who has dealt with the Taft-based squad since 2020.
The University thanked Pumaren for his companies to the crew.
