‘That’s so nice’: College basketballer’s Christmas gift for sister goes viral

Anthony Leal, a junior on Indiana’s basketball crew, stepped up large for his older sister Lauren’s Christmas current.

A video has gone viral of the youthful brother utilizing his title, picture and likeness cash to repay his sister’s scholar loans in a single fell swoop, The New York Post reported.

Following the NCAA’s title, picture, and likeness (NIL) rule change final June, some school athletes have turn out to be millionaires, leveraging followings into profitable offers.

While it’s unknown how profitable it’s been for Leal, he has clearly made some cash, asserting the news to her in a card, which she learn aloud.

“You’re a spark of goodness that brightens the world,” the cardboard learn. “You radiate kindness and bring happiness to so many people, especially me.”

She stopped studying for a second, checked out her brother, and mentioned, “That’s so nice!”

“Hey sis, I wanted you to know how much I look up to you and admire who you are,” the cardboard continued. “Your soul is beautiful and you are the best role model ever. There is no doubt that I have made it to where I am today because of you.

Lauren Leal stopped studying once more, gasped, and exclaimed, “I don’t even know how much that is!”

The youthful brother interjected: “I do — it’s zero now.”

Pushed by her mum, Lauren mentioned: “ … the best way to help you with that is by paying off your student loan debt.”

The brother and sister embraced in a touching Christmas second.

Anthony Leal was a four-star recruit out of Bloomington South in Indiana in the highschool class of 2020. Now to start with of his third season at Indiana, he has appeared in 41 video games for the Hoosiers.
