The San Miguel Beermen booked a slot within the 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals after a 121-105 rout of the Converge FiberXers within the match’s quarterfinals on Sunday on the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Cameron Clark registered a double-double of 40 factors, 13 rebounds, and three assists, to steer the Beermen to a semis slot. CJ Perez had 26 factors and 12 rebounds, whereas Vic Manuel and Jericho Cruz had 20 and 12 factors every.

The win spoiled the debut of recent Converge import Tom Vodanovich who posted 39 factors and 10 rebounds. Maverick Ahanmisi was a rebound shy from a double-double after tallying 18 factors and 9 rebounds.

The Beermen will now have to attend for the winner of the opposite bracket which can characteristic twice-to-beat no. 3 seed Barangay Ginebra taking up no. 6 NLEX for its opponent within the best-of-five semis.
