Philippines sets new record in FIBA World Cup attendance

The Philippines is actually one basketball-crazy nation!

On Friday, the Filipino crowd set a brand new file in FIBA World Cup attendance because it registered 38,115 attendees for the opening day of the 2023 FIBA World Cup on the Philippine Arena.

It exceeded the file beforehand set at 32, 616 in the course of the 1994 version of the World Cup.

 

 

During the sport between Angola and Italy, the attendance was recorded at 21, 214.

At the half, Gilas Pilipinas and the Dominican Republic had been tied at 42.
