PBA: San Miguel downs NLEX, clinches top spot with win no. 9

San Miguel clinched the highest spot of the PBA Philippine Cup after notching its ninth win because it defeated NLEX, 120-103, on Sunday on the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

After the Road Warriors’ 5-2 lead early within the sport, the Beermen took over and ultimately ended the primary half of their favor, 50-41. 

The Beermen pulled away within the third interval because it unloaded 33 factors to take an 83-71 benefit on the finish of the stated body. San Miguel ultimately sealed the deal as back-to-back baskets from Jericho Cruz and a triple by CJ Perez late gave the Beermen a 19-point lead lower than a minute earlier than the ultimate buzzer.
