As the PBA All-Star weekend makes its return this 2023, the league may have a brand new format for its primary sport.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial stated the All-Star weekend, which will probably be held on March 9-12, 2023 in Passi, Iloilo, will now have an identical format to different leagues the place followers will select the gamers to be included.
“Dati North-South, [ngayon] ang gagawin na natin parang sa ibang liga, mamimili ang fans ng 24, kahit anong posisyon, top 24 players. Doon sa top 24, ‘yung dalawa gagawin nating captain ball,” stated Marcial.
From the 22 gamers, every captain will draft their group members. The prime picks from the rookie choice may also be a part of the groups, and even coaches will probably be voted by the followers. Celebrities might also be added to the groups.
