NLEX terminates JR Quiñahan’s contract due to contract infractions

The NLEX Road Warriors introduced on Saturday that they’ve terminated veteran participant JR Quiñahan’s contract within the PBA.

The workforce stated that upon investigation, Quiñahan has dedicated “several infractions of his Uniform Players’ Contract, including, among others, playing in unsanctioned games without seeking clearance from NLEX management and the Philippine Basketball Association.”

With this, the workforce stated the veteran participant might now signal with every other PBA workforce.

Quiñahan was amongst those that had been slapped with fines by the PBA as a consequence of their ‘ligang labas’ stints. The NLEX participant was fined P50,000 and a further P20,000 as a consequence of his involvement in a brawl in an unsanctioned sport in Cebu.

Quiñahan has been with NLEX since 2017.
