The National Collegiate Athletic Association denied Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s attraction to elevate the suspension of veteran guard Fran Yu in Game 3 of the Season 98 Finals.

In a press release launched on Tuesday, the league dominated to disclaim the suspension on the next grounds:

“a. There was no new evidence presented by CSJL as required by the NCAA rules to lift the suspension and

b. CSJL did not contest the judgment call of the game officials.”

Yu was ejected from Game 2 of the Finals after being slapped with a disqualifying foul on account of an incident with Benilde’s Mark Sangco.

With the choice, Letran will play with out Yu within the clincher on Sunday, and the 24-year outdated guard has formally performed his final collegiate profession sport.

Game 3 of the Finals might be aired on GMA and GTV and streamed on-line in GMA Sports and NCAA Philippines pages on December 18 at 3 pm.
