Montenegro and Lithuania on Sunday picked up their respective second wins within the 2023 FIBA World Cup on the Mall of Asia Arena to advance to the second spherical of the event.
The Montenegrins defeated Egypt, 89-74, with Nikola Vucevic posting 16 factors and 7 rebounds. Nikola Ivanovic, in the meantime, had 15 factors of their second win in Group D.
Meanwhile, Lithuania dismantled Mexico, 96-66. Jonas Valanciunas had 15 factors and 12 rebounds, whereas Rokas Jokubaitis additionally chipped in 15 factors. Mindaugas Kuzminskas added 14 factors within the Lithuania win.
The two groups will dispute for the highest spot of Group D as they face one another on Tuesday.
