The Red Robins dispatched University of Santo Tomas, 71-63, within the Division 1 Fantastic 8 spherical, with Lance Gragasil posting 13 factors, three rebounds, and three steals.
Mapua’s Nico Mulingtapang, in the meantime, led Batang Tiaong in defeating San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 80-66. The graduating Mapua participant had 26 factors and eight rebounds within the win.
The Braves, in the meantime, superior to the semifinals of Division 2 after defeating Khalifa Cebu, 83-81.
Aside from Mapua and Batang Tiaong, Adamson University and Fil-Am Nation Select full the Fearless Four of Division I, whereas Division II may have Arellano, Eco-Green Makati, Top Flight Canada, and Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas.
