Lyceum of the Philippines made it three wins in a row after sweeping Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 25-15, 25-20, 25-17, within the NCAA Season 98 ladies’s volleyball match on Tuesday.
Lyceum, which was coming off back-to-back victories towards San Beda University and Emilio Aguinaldo College, improved to 6-2 to bolster its Final Four probabilities.
Letran, however, slipped to 4-4 as its probabilities for a playoff seat dimmed.
Joan Doguna continued to shine for the Lady Pirates, drilling back-to-back kills to place Lyceum to a an 11-6 cushion earlier than Letran countered with a 6-1 run led by Juls Castro to chop its deficit to at least one, 12-11.
Letran unleashed one other rally with Daisy Melendres serving up an ace for a 15-14 deficit, however a Zonxi Dahab fast despatched Lyceum to a two-point benefit within the second TTO.
