Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Mapua University notched wins on Saturday within the Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup in San Juan.
Letran trounced Arellano University, 83-77, with Nicko Fajardo itemizing 28 factors and Kobe Monje posting 23 factors for the Knights’ third win in 4 video games.
Jude Bagay and Lars Sunga had 16 and 15 factors, respectively because the Chiefs dropped their second in as many video games within the match.
Earlier, Mapua University took down De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, 95-78, with Warren Bonifiacio registering 20 factors, seven rebounds, and 5 assists. Clint Escamis had 18 factors whereas Toby Agustin had 15 factors because the Cardinals improved to 3-1.
Prince Carlos had 17 factors whereas Migs Oczon and Miggy Corteza had 10 factors apiece within the Blazers’ loss which introduced them all the way down to 3-2.
In different matches, St. Clare College of Caloocan eked out a 55-54 win over Far Eastern University, whereas De La Salle University defeated University of the Philippines, 90-83.
Filoil motion will return on Sunday because the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA face Jose Rizal University and the Cardinals tackle Emilio Aguinaldo Colelge, whereas Centro Escolar University and Adamson University face off within the afternoon, adopted by La Salle’s sport towards University of the East.
