Lakers thrash Grizzlies, wrap up series in Game 6

D’Angelo Russell scored a playoff-career-best 31 factors on 12-of-17 capturing and the Los Angeles Lakers punched their ticket into the Western Conference semifinals with a 125-85 trouncing of the visiting Memphis Grizzlies on Friday in Game 6 of their sequence.

LeBron James scored 22 factors for the Lakers, who gained 4 of the six video games of the first-round matchup. Anthony Davis added 16 factors, 14 rebounds and 5 blocked photographs for seventh-seeded Los Angeles, which ambushed the second-seeded Grizzlies in spectacular vogue.

The Lakers, who shot 53.8 p.c from the sphere, will play both the Sacramento Kings or Golden State Warriors within the convention semis. Those groups play Game 7 of their sequence on Sunday.

Santi Aldama scored 16 factors off the bench, Desmond Bane had 15 factors and Jaren Jackson Jr. added 14 for Memphis. Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks had 10 factors apiece for the Grizzlies.

Memphis’ Luke Kennard missed the competition on account of a left shoulder harm that occurred in Game 5.
