Barangay Ginebra veteran and FIBA World Cup native ambassador LA Tenorio mentioned he’s doing effectively as he recovers from colon most cancers.

“My recovery, so far so good. So far okay naman,” Tenorio advised reporters on Tuesday within the partnership announcement of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and the San Miguel Corporation for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

As ambassador, Tenorio mentioned he’s excited for the lineup of actions forward of the World Cup, which

“It’s another experience, it’s another purpose for me,” mentioned the guard of the Gilas group which performed within the 2014 World Cup in Spain.

“Being an ambassador of FIBA, [I am] really looking forward sa mga puwede kong gawin. I’m sure marami kaming naka-lineup na gagawin and I’m happy to help sa kung ‘ano ‘yung mga puwede ko matulong for SBP and for this coming FIBA World Cup.”

The World Cup shall be performed from August 25 to September 10, whereas the draw of the groups shall be held on Saturday, April 29.
