Jared Bahay and his Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu staff and Reinhard Jumamoy and his National University-Nazareth School squad will meet within the NBTC’s Fearless Four on Saturday on the Mall of Asia Arena.
Bahay and Jumamoy are two of the league’s top-ranked highschool gamers, with the previous claiming the no. 1 spot whereas Jumamoy being no. 3.
Bahay erupted for 31 factors to tow the Magis Eagles to a 90-75 win over Mapua University. Meanwhile, Jumamoy posted a near-quadruple-double with 27 factors, 12 assists, 10 rebounds, and 9 steals to maintain NU’s title retention bid alive.
Their respective wins earned them slots within the NBTC Fearless Four, with the SHS-Ateneo and NUNS sport scheduled for six:30 pm.
In the opposite Division 1 video games, Fil-Nation dismantled Batang Tiaong, 91-79, with Jason Mandaquit making 31 factors. UST, alternatively, eked out a win towards Toronto, 66-65. The two groups will battle one another at 5 pm.
Meanwhile in Division 2, Team Tarlac and Ateneo will face off within the Fearless Four at 2 pm, whereas Don Bosco will go towards Homegrown Australia at 3:30 pm.
