Far Eastern University-Diliman inched nearer to UAAP highschool basketball supremacy as they took down Adamson University, 85-74, on Tuesday in Game 1 of the Season 85 boys basketball finals on the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
The Baby Tamaraws have been trailing 50-39 on the finish of the primary half earlier than they held the Baby Falcons to only 24 factors within the second half and acquired their first win towards the San Marcelino-based squad this season.
Kirby Mongcopa posted a statline of 20 factors and 20 rebounds to carry the Diliman-based squad nearer to the championship, whereas Luke Felipe scored 14 factors.
JR Pasaol and Jedric Daa made 13 factors every, whereas Dwyne Miranda had 10 factors. VJ Pre flirted with a double-double with 10 rebounds and eight factors.
Carlo Bonzalida had 18 factors and 13 rebounds, whereas Peter Rosillio and Vince Reyes tallied 19 and 15 factors, respectively, within the AdU loss.
