Denok Miranda will take over the Far Eastern University males’s basketball program as he was appointed as head coach of the Tamaraws for Season 86.
The staff made the announcement on Wednesday, weeks after it was introduced that Olsen Racela parted methods with the staff.
“Known as an elite defender and leader during his time, Coach Denok is expected to instill a defensive and winning mentality with the team,” FEU stated.
Joining Miranda is Johnny Abarrientos as staff advisor.
Miranda, additionally a product of FEU, has been a part of the Tamaraws’ teaching workers and has been an MPBL head coach since 2018. He was additionally a two-time UAAP and PBA champion.
